a x 0 = 0
a + 1 = 1 - Absorbsi
a + (a x b) = a
a x (a + b) = a - Involusi
(a')' = a
0' = 1
1' = 0 - Asosiatif
(a + b) + c = a + (b + c)
(a x b) x c = a x (b x c) - De Morgan
(a + b)' = a' x b'
(a x b)' = a' + b'
sifat sifat tersebut biasa digunakan untuk menyederhanakan suatu fungsi, contoh :
E = (a' + (a x b)') x (b' x (b' + c))
E = (a' + (a x b)') x b' *absorbsi
E = (a' + a' + b') x b' *De Morgan
E = (a' + b') x b' *Idempoten
E = b' * Absorbsi
